What comes to your mind when you hear the mention of Kennesaw? Does the Kennesaw Civil War battle come to mind at all? I was called to play bagpipes at the Kennesaw Memorial Park cemetery, pictured below, to help a family celebrate their celtic heritage at the graveside service of a loved one.
I went out to the tent, which was near the office, and tuned my pipes. When the hearse and family arrived, I played a hymn medley, and at the end I played "Amazing Grace". The family was very happy, and it went great.
