I acquired flashes that match the tartans of my latest kilts/skirts. I was not able to get some that I needed because the available flashes only match acrylic tartans, not wool.

I have ordered flashes several times, so I don't know which order this was. However, I have been pleased with all of them. My only regret is there are some tartans, especially the wool ones, for which there are no corresponding flashes. I had to get acrylic flashes that were as similar as possible to the tartan I was trying to match. In some situations the match was not as satisfactory as I would have liked. Note, most of my kilts are based on commercially available plaid skirts for which I have found the most closely matching tartan. Some of these have been wool tartans and finding matching flashes has not been satisfactory.

I am pleased with the flashes I received. I have been able to cover all of my kilt skirts with comparable flashes, some exact. They along with my kilt hose and sporran allow all of my plaid pleated skirts to be considered kilts by the general public, so I am happy.

I have a good collection now of flashes that go with most of my skirts. I am able to use them all with my sporran and kilt hose with flashes as kilts. I receive many compliments on my kilts even though most are just plaid skirts turned into kilts. The sporran is the main thing to make my garment a kilt in the eyes of the beholders, but the kilt hose and flashes add an affirming touch.

I have as many flashes as I can find to go with all of my commercial skirts to make them serve as kilts with a sporran.

They are what I ordered and will serve me well. Somehow I got three extras. I don't know how that happened, but I can put them to use also.
